We take action based on the information we have.

Sooooo, one of the most important things we can do is to ensure we are making the most of the information we are taking in.

We are constantly bombarded with information every day.

From friends, family, teachers, mentors, books, the internet, podcasts, social media, news. It’s everywhere and it’s constant.

Everyone has their take on health, money, success or whatever.

You can consume it (and gain benefit from it), or you can be consumed by it.

Some things I consider with the information that I choose to take in…

Who is giving you the information? Do they have a track record with the information they are sharing? Is it their field of expertise? Seek information from people you trust.

Why are they sharing the information with you? Sometimes the person sharing it has a vested interest in you taking action on the information they are sharing with you.

Is it fact or is it their opinion? Is the information based on some sort of research that’s been proven or is it based on someone’s opinion?

Most of us are on social media, and we get tons of information from there. I set filters on there to only show me the information I’m interested in.

We only have so much space in our brains. We might as well fill it with more of the things that interest us, and less of the things that don’t interest us.

If you found this helpful, please share it with a friend

I’m curious, what are some of your favorite sources of information & how do you best filter through everything? Comment below ?

|
