These are the 1st couple lines of an old song from the Mama\u2019s & the Papa\u2019s.<\/p>
Monday\u2019s were not always good to me. Far from it.<\/p>
Not too long ago I was working in a job I didn\u2019t like, so I didn\u2019t look forward to Monday\u2019s.<\/p>
Unfulfilling work & disgruntled co-workers. I used to carpool with negative people that complained all the time. Not a great way to start my day.<\/p>
I didn\u2019t want to live that way any more so I put the wheels in motion to Switch Things Up.<\/p>
I made a list of other work I would rather be doing.<\/p>
I got more intentional with my actions. This helped to create greater focus for me.<\/p>
A new habit I started doing was on every Monday morning, I would note my top 3 priorities. These are the most important things that needed to be done during the week that would help push the needle forward.<\/p>
The more consistent I got with it, the more I got done.<\/p>
Eventually, my side hustle (the one that I loved doing) gave me the freedom to quit my unfulfilling job.<\/p>
Monday\u2019s are much better for me now, and I can sing that song and mean it.<\/p>
Now I get to help others through their journey of quitting their soul-sucking work and step in to more fun & fulfilling work.<\/p>
