Thank you so much for visiting our site. It means the world to me that you have taken the time out of your day to see what we are all about. I assume you are here because we have either inspired you in some way or we have been connected in some shape or form and you want to show your support and love. Again thank you and your only a visitor once. After today you are family.
My name is Kevin Castillo. In the past , I always thought that in order to be successful you had to follow societies guidelines of go to school, graduate, go to college and take on a job afterwards that paid well and retire at the age of 72 if you are lucky. Growing up in school, I was a C and D student. I was told that if I did not get my grades up that I would not amount to much. I was always trying to please people and worried about the opinions of others. I was always aiming to please people. And where did all this get me? A very unfulfilled life. A life of stress and not being happy.
After high school, I always dreamed of being successful and having lots of money. I will admit, I was a job hopper. I chased the money because I thought that the more money I made, the happier I would be. I have always wanted more out of life.. Fast forward to today, and boy was i wrong. I am not against making a significant amount of money. I don’t care what you do or how much money you make. I want to know if it’s your calling.
Fast forward to today and I am far more educated on the fact that just because i didn’t make good grades and go to college, that doesn’t define who I will become or how my life will be influenced based on my decisions.
I have always been the odd one in the family. I don’t follow the crowd because I know that deep down if I follow the crowd, I won’t get much further than the crowd. In today’s world to be what others are not, it will require getting out of your comfort zone and doing things that others are not willing to do. Do today, what others aren’t willing to do, so tomorrow you can do what others can’t. I have always wanted more out of life. I just never knew what path to take to get there until i changed my circle of influence. The journey isn’t easy. I am still on this journey but I know it will all be worth it.
I want to help people live a more fulfilled life, so that they can do more or what they enjoy and less of what they do not. Life is too short to do what others expect. You and only you are in control of your life. To have this Epic life, you have to be willing to get out of your comfort zone. The best advice that was ever given to me was to chase your dreams and follow those that have achieved there dreams so that you may accomplish yours. It wasn’t until my circle of influence changed. They say the average of the five people you hang around is who you ultimately become. My circle of influence has been with me for the last four years. I do my weekly calls with them and we challenge each other and celebrate our big wins. So the question I have for you is; who are you hanging with?
One of the best investments I have made is the right connections. The fact that I have made the right connections with the people that are already doing what I want. I am following their lead and I am farther along than I was four years ago. Nothing happens overnight. The faster something comes, the faster that it will be gone. When you practice patience. That’s where the magic happens. Remember, the person who is sitting in the shade under a tree, is because someone planted a seed 20 years ago. The next best time to plant a seed is NOW.
The major question you have to ask yourself, is what are you passionate about? What is something that you would jump out of bed for every morning? There is saying that goes ” I would rather work 80 hours a week than 40 hours a week”. What does that mean? It means that as long as I am doing what I love and am passionate about, no amount of hours matter because I am already doing what I love. Versus working 40 hours a week at a job that I don’t enjoy and am always looking at the clock and counting down the hours until I get off. Nothing against a job at all. Again, if it is what you are passionate about, than keep going. Life is about finding your purpose, building your legacy, and leaving your legacy.
The fact that I used to only see my wife for 30 – 60 minutes a day drove me completely insane. Don’t get me started with family. I saw them even less. Is this what society has programmed me for? This is not living. If you are in the same boat as me, guess what? You and I can change this. A big portion is alll about mindset and the people who we surround ourselves with. I am still on this journey and would love to share my journey with you and team up to get you on the same path as me. The path to more time and freedom.
I believe all of us are capable of becoming anything we want as long as we develop the right mindset and combine it with massive action.
Again… Remember, nothing happens overnight
