THIS INSPIRED ME

One of my all-time fav things about being an entrepreneur is the freedom and flexibility it creates.

I get to set my schedule.
I get to work where I want.

The success of my business is solely on me. Sometimes I work my butt off, while others times… not so much.

Over the last couple weeks, I’ve been making my way to my fav coffee shop in the mornings

I usually grab my scone, and get settled in to start working at 9am.

The coffee shop is usually pretty quiet, with only a couple other people there. This morning, there was only one other guy here.

As I was going through some trainings from the Peaceful Profits, the guy started chatting with me.

His name was Graham and he was just starting out on a loooooong bike ride & he was asking me about the possible routes he could ride.

Our chat evolved from long bike rides to a bunch of other things.

He retired from his accounting firm 5 years ago, and he was sharing about his recent travels with his wife

Australia, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Fiji, Bali, Nepal.
He climbed to Basecamp at Everest.

I looooooove hearing about people’s travel experiences. It gives me ideas on where I want to travel next.

We talked about enjoying the journey, and not having to wait till retirement to enjoy life.
We also talked about doing what you love, enjoying time with people you like + making a difference. My kinda conversations.

Before he left, he apologized for taking me away from my podcast. I said no need to apologize, because I invite conversations like this.

In fact, one of the reasons I get to this coffee shop is because I crave these random conversations with strangers and welcome them.
