This week I’ve been tuning in to a Tony Robbins & Dean Graziosi’s Time to Thrive Challenge.
It’s been really great so far.
Yesterday they had a couple more of my mentors on to share their story.
Brendan Burchard popped in and shared how for his first event, he was all pumped up and rented a large room for 500 people at a local conference center. Barely 10 people showed up and some of them were family & friends.
Now, he sells out much larger arenas, has over 300 million views on his videos and has had over 2 million students enroll in his programs and courses. Lots & Lots of positive impact on people’s lives.
Imagine if he let that 1st experience stop him?
After Brendan, Russell Brunson came on to share his early days.
If you have ever heard Russell speak, he is high energy and very confident.
He wasn’t always that way. As he showed one of his early videos, he was far from it (if you want to check it out, click HERE).
He was stuttering along trying to sell people on his affiliate marketing program and nobody bought anything from him.
Fast forward many years later and he broke a record where he sold $3.2 million in a 90 minute presentation at Grant Cardone’s 10x Conference.
Whaaaaat?
Hearing stories like these are very encouraging to me and a great reminder that we all suck at the beginning.
There are definitely times when self doubt creeps in for me. Knowing that my top mentors went through similar challenges is reassuring for me.
It’s all part of the journey.
Just keep going.
Put in the reps.
Get uncomfortable.
Eventually we get better, which leads to greater success + more impact.
