It was pretty cool to be on a live session with Matthew McConaughey last week.
He was chatting with Tony Robbins and Dean Graziosi. They asked him some deep questions + he also shared some great insights from his new book called Greenlights.
I’ve heard nothing but great things about this book. I haven’t read it yet, but after hearing him talk, I’m definitely bumping it up higher on my reading the list.
On his talk with Tony & Dean, he shared that when things come up for him in his life where things could go one way or the other, he doesn’t like ‘not knowing’.
He said we have 3 choices.
Do nothing and you won’t know what happens.
Try something and it doesn’t work out. At least you know that didn’t work and can now try something different.
Try something and it works out. Awesome. Congrats for taking action. You know!
When he shared this, my mind instantly went to a quote that was shared to me by one of my coaches…
𝙄𝙣 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝘼𝙗𝙨𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙊𝙛 𝘾𝙡𝙖𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙮, 𝙏𝙖𝙠𝙚 𝘼𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣
We learn most from doing.
Things won’t always go our way. The sooner we accept that, the sooner we can adapt and try something different, which will eventually leads us to achieving our goals.
Grace… in what area of your life can you take more action?
Less talk, more do.
Let’s go
Stay EPIC!

I was born and raised in Hamilton, Ontario and for as long as I can remember, I’ve always been very positive & optimistic. As a young boy, I was a dreamer, a doer and excited for life! I remember growing up, before any big test at school, or soccer game, my mom would always remind me to Do My Best! I’m a wee bit of a perfectionist because of that. And, today, I’m still all of those things, but now a man, driven, dedicated and committed to living a life on my own terms.
