A couple days ago, I hopped on a call with a bunch of other Epic Dads for another masterclass.
The topic of this one was Being a Great Dad.
We had awesome discussions.
It was great hearing from other dads about their experiences, fun times with their kids + the dad struggles.
We had some dads that had 1 kid & we had dads that had 6.Â
Kids ages ranging from babies to teenagers to young adults.
One thing that was extra impactful for the dads on the call was when we chatted about perspective.
Sometimes we take for granted the time we have with our kids and don’t always realize how much more ‘quality time’ we have with them.
Here’s one for ya…
By the time our kids graduate high school, you will have already spent around 93% of your in-person time with them 
Whaaaaaaat?
Crazy, right?
Hearing things like that are a great reminder to enjoy as much time as you can with your kids, because soon, they’ll have bf’s & gf’s, start driving, be working, go off to school & eventually move out.
A couple years back, I read a blog post called 18 Summers. The short of it is that we have 18 Summers with our kids. Just 18.
Since reading that blog post, now, every summer, my daughters and I create our 18 Summers list. It’s a list of things we want to do together in the summer.
Even though they are getting older and off doing more of their own thing, we still get to our 18 Summers list and have extra fun together.
